Dr. Bharath Holla, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, contributes to patient care, research, and post-graduate education in the Department of Integrative Medicine, NIMHANS. He holds an MD in Psychiatry and a PhD in imaging-genomics of addiction, with a post-doctoral fellowship in addiction psychiatry. His research focuses on the neurobiology of mental illness and treatment approaches in Psychiatry. Clinically, he integrates traditional practices like Yoga and Ayurveda into evidence-based psychiatric treatments. He is also involved in post-graduate education, teaching reproducible neuroscience and promoting open science initiatives.
