In association with Autoliv and Bengaluru Traffic Police, this project is implemented to enhance the ability of youth in Bengaluru to provide first-responder care for road crash victims. Project involves developing a youth-centric lay-responder module, and creating a model for strengthening youth capacities to provide lay-responder care for crash victims. The project aims to train 15,000 youth as first-responders through peer-to-peer strategies and develop an interactive website to sustain lay-responder training and monitor assistance stories of trained youth. The learnings and materials can be replicated across different districts in the country.
